Sarah Praill

Sarah Praill explores markers of presence and absence. She drew for many years in the British Museum. Articulations accumulate in an attempt to locate lost things. Surfaces are prompts and drivers. It is an archaeology of feeling.

Sarah studied History at Durham University and then Design and Illustration at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem. She completed an MA in Fine Art at Wimbledon School of Art in 2010. A background in book design informs her thinking. She is a member of Slaughterhaus Print Studio in South London and is a mother to three daughters.
