Anna Rhodes

Anna Rhodes is a landscape architect and lecturer in landscape architecture living in Edinburgh. She has an international and publicised portfolio of work ranging from sculptural and planting installations to large‐scale public realm design.

Through her research-led practice and teaching, Anna promotes the importance of reading a site through immersive fieldwork. Drawing is key to her field research and is a tool to appreciate environmental forces as well as the complex lives and processes of more-than-humans around her. Currently she is developing graphic representations that foreground cycles, transformations and more-than-human processes to communicate the complexity of landscapes in the context of our increasing awareness of the human impact on the environment.
