Kim Plowright

Kim Plowright is an interdisciplinary artist with a practice involving drawing, teaching, performance lectures and digital storytelling.

Her drawings explore memory, hypermediation and embodied experience. Her work is a way of sifting through a glut of  information, visualising clickstream desire-paths and creating provisional narratives to make sense of transient feelings.

She gained a BFA from the Ruskin School of Art, and an MA in television production from Bournemouth University, but then got distracted by the internet. She has worked for over twenty years at the intersection of technology, art, games and 'old' media, winning a BAFTA, an Emmy, and a nomination for the Tate IK Prize.
